4 sex workers arrested in Vasco NT News Service Vasco, July 26: The Vasco police have arrested four commercial sex workers who were soliciting customers in houses in municipal property at Baina, this evening. According to police, they received information about the sex trade. The police raided the places at around 6.30 p.m and have arrested Sujata alias Sunita Ramu Achari (35), Jaya Santosh Padwal (35), Jyoti Suresh Chalwadi (30) and Shanta Bhimrao Harijan (30), all from Baina and have registered offence under Section 8 of Immoral Traffic Prevention Act.
Police inspector, Mr Sammy Tavares is further investigating the case under the supervision of sub-divisional police officer Mr Subhash Goltekar.
