TIATRO BHURGHIM MAI-PAICHEM SUKH
The stage is all set now for Rosary Ferns and his troupe to stage this new
Konkani Tiatro Bhurghim Mai-Paichem Sukh on 12th August 2005 at Hawally
A/C Hall, Opp. Mubarakiya Hospital. This will be Rosary Ferns 19th Tiatro,
which is based on the latest trend in our family life. All parents and
children must not lose this opportunity to see this tiatro. The cast is all
seasoned, some of them earlier in Goa thorough professionals and as such I
am sure that they will perform their roles to the total satisfaction of the
audience. The major part of the play will be handled by the hit - man
Sylvester Vaz, Laurent Pereira, Querobina Carvalho, Adrian, Sandra, Xavier,
Manuel, Sanny and Simon while others namely Conchita, Martha, Lawry M.,
Margareth DCruz and Marcus Vaz will give an added booster for the play.
The comedy roles from the beginning till end will be done by both the
comedian brothers Prince Jacob and supremo Humbert and they will surely
produce peals of laughter in the Hawally A/C Hall. Besides their own comdy
side show they will also act as comedians in the play. The two visiting
female artistes namely tragedy queen Antonette de Calangute whom I have been
watching acting from her very early age at Calangute and other surrounding
areas will with her tragic role melt the hearts of the audience and Annie
Quardos by playing the serpentine role will make the audience lose their
temper. As a matter of fact the selected cast looked very matured and
seasoned and they will leave no stone unturned to make their mission a very
successful. As it is from what I have seen thru the ongoing rehearsals, all
artistes are very enthusiastic and eager to perform well. And as per Rosary
Ferns, they are all very helpful and co-operative.
The side show songs will definitely mesmerize the audience as best of
available singing talent, local as well as visiting, will give a feast of
best of numbers starting from melodious singer Sanny de Quepem followed by
Querobina Carvalho, Marcus Vaz, Sylvester Vaz, Michael DSilva, Zoro and
Rosary Ferns. The others who will delight the people in the hall thru their
songs will be all the visiting artistes. As a sudden surprise to the
audience first time in Kuwait a newly formed trio of Marcus Vaz Syslvester
Vaz & Laurent Pereira will entertain the crowd by their new trios.
About the newly formed trio, it must be brought to the notice of the people
that when a trio is formed every one becomes curious because in the past
trios have always created sensation and solid impact on the minds of the
audience and I am sure the newly formed trio of M-S-L will also create a
good impact of itself, of course to the delight of the audience. In the
history of Tiatro the first known trio was of Kid-Young-Rod which during
those days created heavy impact on tiatro goers. All these 3 artistes were
gigantic figures and up to now none emulated them. Then came the famous
political singer trio of Conception-Nelson-Anthony soon after the liberation
of Goa and from this trio only Anthony is still surviving. The third
popular trio that came into existence was of Rom-Rem-Rod and they too
directed their songs and tirade on political situation of Goa. The other
trio that also created some impact at lower level in Goa was of Tomazinho
Cardoso his elder brother Anton Joao Volley DMello and they too hit the
then Government of Bandodkar very hard. I hope the newly formed trio will
sing very attractive and beautiful songs in keeping with the tradition of
past trios and I am sure they have the capacity to deliver the goods because
all the three singers are gigantic artistes.
