Thank you for your good wishes for the Goa Su-Raj Party. More good wishes such as these, more specifically translated into votes, wud be desirable. Your above quote is not lost on us at GSRP. This and other factors were taken into consideration whilst drafting the party's Constitution. The above is applicable only when the multitude get fooled by the politician/s by superficial and oral promises. When people graduate themselves to ask for written down promises before they vote, only then no power in the world will be able to corrupt those in power much less absolute power. In the case of GSRP, we have realised that no matter what, no party is agreable to write down what they stand for, nor they want to put down in writing what they will do and what they will not do. All they say is that "Vote for us for more development" And the gullible people, inconvenience themselves by standing patiently in long lines to vote. For all that matters "vote for more development" could be ( and always is) his/her's own development. Otherwise one cannot justify the lifestyle of our MLAs and Ministers. People have always been suckers. They never vote for themselves. They always vote to make their respective MLAs rich. That is why GSRP has written down what it will do and what it will not do. Since much could not be written down in the Constitution, we have included only 3 items there. One: A five member cabinet. Two: No chairmanship of Govt. Corporations and Institutions to MLAs, and Three: Absolutely no amendments allowed to the above two articles as well as a few other important articles, throughout the life of the Party. The other Do's and Don'ts are written down in the Party's Road Map (approx 100 pages booklet) which will be released on 15th. August, 2005. All that GSRP expects from the sensible people of Goa is to TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT. The choice will be theirs and we at GSRP shall not be bothered. We have considered it our duty as CITIZENS of GOA to give other citizens of Goa an opportunity to give themselves an opportunity in the world full of 'con artists'.
