Goa CM orders inquiry into IFFI expenditure PANAJI, Aug 1: Goa Chief Minister Pratapsinh Rane has instituted an inquiry into the expenditure incurred for the International Film Festival of India held last December following pressure from his cabinet colleagues as well as coalition partners. The ruling Congress party alleges that Rs.150 crore was spent on the festival while the BJP says only Rs.60 crore was spent. (Raju Nayak, The Indian Express) --
