I have read his Karma of Brown Folk and found it
interesting. I have been aware of his work from
reading Z magazine, and the Indian magazine Frontline,
where I am also a contributing writer.
Since he is also founder of Forum of Indian Leftists
(FOIL), based in US, his critics could dismiss him as
a "commie" or, at best, a "pinkie."
