World Konkani Day In Mumbai
Goan Review Art Foundation (GRAF) will celebrate
the
Annual World Goa Day as the 'World Konkani Day'
on 8th. October'05 at 6.30 p.m. at Our Lady of
Loudes Church Hall, Orlem Malad.
The purpose of celebrating the World Konkani Day is
to bring together all the Konkanis (Goans,
Mangaloreans, Maharashtrians-all Konkankars)
of Mumbai irrespective of the script they use.
The programme will feature Konkani cultural
programme of songs & folk dances, singalong,
dancing session besides the konkan delicacies.
Thehighlight of the programme will be late Alfred
Rose's song 'Ami Sogllim Ek" and felicitation of
Konkani personalities who have contributed immensely
in the field of Konkani art & culture.
