Piecing together the morsels of information about Mopa appearing here and there, it seems to have the following shape:
1. Designed to take A380 superjumbos (double decker), world's biggest civilian planes 2. Two runways on which 9 aircraft can land at the same time (maybe 1 fixed wing on one runway and 8 choppers on the other!) 3. A special provision for choppers (Navy's, who else?) 4. A 5 acre parking bay which will accommodate 40 forty) aircraft (vs only 6 aircraft at Dabolim). 5. Price tag of Rs 1000 crores ($200 million) 6. Completion anywhere from 2011 to 2014 (so no immediate threat to Dabolim)
