Am saying this in my personal capacity, Frederick. I am not an employee/public relations officer of the Konkan Railway. << While I hold no brief for the Monorail, it perhaps needs to be recalled that the Konkan Railway itself grossly under-estimated its costs at the time of pushing through the project (literally, thanks in part to George Fernandes and Madhu Dandavate and the upcoming elections in the early 'nineties) at a little over a thousand crores... to end up at six times or more that cost. >> How may one compare the *Konkan Railway*, set up by the KRC, with the *Skybus*? << Mega projects and corruption are a lethal mix. >> ...and so we Goans may be *taken for a ride* by Monorail?
