GOVT ACCEPTS JINDAL'S RESIGNATION PANAJI, Oct 4: The state government has accepted the resignation of noted neuro surgeon, Dr V N Jindal, attached to Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim. Surprisingly, senior bureaucrats in the secretariat were not aware about the acceptance of Dr Jindal’s resignation. With the acceptance of Dr Jindal’s resignation, Goa will lose a noted neuro surgeon, who cared for the Goans. Dr Jindal joined the GMC in 1983 and served the state for 22 years. Dr.Jindal was also recently made the Dean of the Faculty of medicine at Goa University and reportedly headed some committees that are yet to submit their reports for improving things at GMC. I wonder what happen to all that. The medical students who hoped for an improvement in the syllabus and examination standards will have to wait for another person to do all that.
