The second annual symposium on low cost aviation trends in the Indian sub-continent is scheduled to be held in Mumbai on Oct 6 and 7 under the auspices of the international Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA). About 300 delegates are expected to attend and debate issues facing the industry in this region. Let us fervently hope that one of the issues discussed in depth will be the stranglehold of the military establishment on Indian low cost civil aviation a la Dabolim, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi etc etc.
