NewIndPress.com SOUTHERN NEWS - KARNATAKA Oct 12, 2005 Police arrest accused after 27 years Wednesday October 12 2005 11:33 IST HUBLI: The Police on Monday arrested a person accused of killing his father and who has been absconding for the last 27 years. The accused has been identified as Baladevsing Rangeela of Ayodhyanagar, Old Hubli, according to the Police. He had allegedly shot his father Harabajansing for opposing his marrying a girl belonging to another religion on December 22, 1978. After the murder, he eloped with the girl and stayed in Hyderabad for two years. But he left the place when his wife died and went to Punjab where he married again in 1991. After spending a few years there, he shifted to Goa along with his second wife and four children. The policemen who were investigating the case, received the information that Baladevasing was residing in Goa. A team of police officers nabbed the accused in Goa after 27 years.
