Yes, I have used the Flight Centre's web site to book
a few flights in the past and as recent as last week,
for local (Australian) flights. Mind you, these are
electronic tickets, and one checks in at the check-in
counter by producing a legitimate
photo-identification, such as a driving licence or
passport. I don't know if such check-in procedures
are available as yet at India's airports.

I haven't yet availed of this web-site facility to
book international flights, so I wouldn't know if one
is issued paper tickets at the end of the transaction,
by snail-mail.

Cheers,

Gabriel.
