Tamil Nadu IT sleuths nab three in Goa NT News Service Vasco Oct 17: The enforcement directorate wing of the Tamil Nadu income-tax department today nabbed three persons, here, suspected to be involved in the series of bomb blasts that took place at Coimbatore on February 14, 1998, claiming 58 lives besides causing injuries to nearly 200 persons. The CBI sleuths raided a ground floor flat of a building at Alto-Dabolim and arrested the three suspects namely Gulzar Khan, his sister, Roshan Khan and Mehboob Khan. Later, the officials sealed the flat and than also sealed a shop run by them in the vicinity. Sources said that gold, diamonds and cash worth crores of rupees had been seized. The accused were residing here since last seven and half years after blasts at Coimbatore. Sources said the woman had given supari to kill her husband to a Naxalite outfit and that she will also be probed on this count. The trio were said to be frequent travellers to the United Kingdom. The sleuths started the raid at around 8 a.m and ended at 10 p.m. The officials claimed to have got some important documents and vital clues about the bomb blast.
