Thanks for sharing your experiences. One cannot overestimate the significance of Rosa Park's life in the civil rights movement. All Americans are thankful for her stand (or refusal to stand, more accurately) and its impact on America.

It was also most fortuitous that Mrs. Parks' involvement in the CRM happened at that particular time in the nation's history. Meeting in a church basement to plan political action of any sort would meet with the ultimate scorn and contempt today by the very same liberals who are cheerleaders in the civil liberties movement.
