Rather than scoring points, a lot of work remains to done for Konkani. A Free Software desktop in Konkani awaits creation -- and it would be interesting to see if Devanagari or Romi gets there first. (Wouldn't it be nice to use competition for positive purposes?) Konkani does need easy-to-learn courses for expats and non-Konkani speakers (including migrants). And at the moment we have very few, mostly indigestible courses. Konkani films badly need subtitling to take them to global audiences and make them viable, including expats. (As an aside, I was pleasantly surprised to see Daniel in Prince Jacob's 'Padri'. Good going, Daniel.) Konkani books need to be translated, and we have just two or three active translators (Vidya Pai in Kolkata, Xavier Cota and Augusto Pinto).
