Some say there is no co-ordination between government departments in Goa, some
say MLAs have in-fights and hence don't co-operate with each others views. To
all these arguments I would say "My Foot". If you don't believe in me, have a
look at this fact.

Town and Country Planning (TCP) passed an ordinance taking absolute authority
in the hands of TCP to convert entire greenery and costal line of Goa into
concrete jungle. Just wait and see, that by this ordinance minister in charge
of TCP will literary sell Goa to Builders and Contractors!

After this ordinance, builders and contractors lobby had to think about one
more question "Okay we get license to convert Goa into concrete Jungle but
what about money to invest in such a big and massive project?" Realizing this
difficulty of contractors and builders, our Economic Development Corporation
(EDC) came to their rescue by passing a resolution that henceforth "EDC will
start distributing loans to builders and contractors to the extent of crores
of rupees for their project". What a way to compliment the TCP's
ordinance......

Going by such complicating resolutions of government departments one can
easily get a feeling that Congress in Goa is up to selling and making Goa a
bankrupt state of India. I wander how our Goans are still not bothered of
what is happening in Goa. On account of which our Governor too has become
silent spectator and warming up his chair at Raj Bhavan. Mr. Governor please
doesn't forget that it's your duty to ensure that MLAs don't take Goa down the
gutters!
