GOACAN Workshop on Waste Management
----------------------------------------------------------
The Goa Civic and Consumer Action Network (GOACAN) is
organizing a Workshop on Waste Management for
Environmental Protection and Sustainable Consumption.
The Workshop seeks to address the management of
Medical, Industrial, Maritime, Tourism, Toxic, Plastic &
Domestic Waste and various low cost solutions which
can be implemented at the Municipal Council and Village
Panchayat level.
The Workshop also seeks to identify suitable practical
strategies to be implemented at the grassroots level
involving the community, educational institutions on
the one hand and the Product Manufacturers,
Distributors, Retailers and Consumers on the other.
DATE: Sunday 6th November 2005 TIME: 9.30am to 5pm
VENUE: Conference Hall, B.P.S. Club Margao
The Registration fee for the Workshop is Rs.75/- to
cover lunch, tea and photocopied materials.
GOACAN looks forward to you actively participating in the
