True that polyglotism helps. But this should be done
at the free will of the people. Unlike the situation
of Goa where languages and scripts were and are dumped
on its people. This is the type of democracy implanted
on Goans since 61. Today Goans are left 'standardless'
no marathi, no concani, no urdu, no french no nuttin
(j. colaço).
To corroborate one chap in HK says that Goans should
do evening classes to improve themselves whilst on a
foreign sojourn! Funny that these are the fruits of
'liberation' or confusion post 61!
Portuguese quarta classe paid and pays!
