Morcha against T&CP ordinance today in city NT Staff Reporter Panaji, Nov 20: Emboldened by the announcement of some environmentalists and heritage lovers to move the court of law praying scrapping of the controversial ordinance on the town and country planning, the St Cruz constituency citizens action committee will take out a morcha in city tomorrow. On Friday, the Chief Minister, Mr Pratapsing Rane had taken initiative in convening a meeting with agitators in the presence the Deputy Speaker, Ms Victoria Fernandes, who is spearheading the stir to exclude the villages from PDAs. However, the unmoved committee has stuck to its guns on the issue. Despite Mr Rane declaring that the ordinance amending the Town and Country Planning Act would not be implemented, Ms Fernandes said that she would go ahead with the planned morcha. The convenor of the action committee, Mr Mario Oliveira said the morcha would start from the Patto Plaza and culminate near Customs House
