Dear Goanetters,
"I do actually have a 'faith' based belief, where I pray to God in "my own
way'.
Church going for me has become irrelevant".
You are a minority - Sam.
Religion is an organisation, you are 'in it' or 'against it'.
No matter what religion you belong to - it is a way of BELONGING, whether
you believe in it or not is another matter altogether.
You have also go to be 'in it' to change it, you cannot change any thing
'without'.
Like it or not - people (majority) BELONG to a religion - minority because
they have not choice.
Do not bring individual priests into it. Catholic Religion is not Priests
only - it is a whole system.
