I once was proud that we had Goans of your caliber. But the gloss has been
fading recently what with your refusal to call it like it is and falling all
over yourself to apologize for gaffes...
Your latest attempt to insinuate me as "Joy Braganza" is a new low which
indicates to me that you have been associating with sewer rats and has
brought on your condition of irrationality. I disassociated myself
immediately when it became known to me that the person from whom you got
this false information had little, if any, class. But you seem to have
embraced this person because you believe his gossip. My advice: pick your
friends carefully.
If you can prove that I am the so-called Joy Braganza (for those who don't
know this is a pen name of someone who writes anonymous emails with innuendo
about fellow Goans -- or so I am told--I have personally seen only one such
missive reporting on the goings on at a Goan Association picnic which
happened to be factually accurate), I am prepared to pay you $50,000 or
more. If you cannot, in my opinion, you should not indulge in idle gossip
and, worse yet, give it currency in a public forum such as this.
Insofar as Tariq is concerned are you the surrogate spokesman for Tariq? At
the time I penned my allegation about "Tariq and his ilk", Tarik had not
condemned Islamofascism which I do. So I don't believe I owe Tariq an
apology...

This Vaz Braganza guy's defense of Goveia and Bush is
pretty weak. Besides, he has still not apologized to
Tariq and some other Goans for making derogatory
comments against them in this public forum.
