Panaji Jan 7: Sayuri Rajesh Gaunekar, one of three girls who were seriously injured when they received high voltage electric burns on December 30, died today morning at the Vintage Hospital where she was undergoing treatment. According to the police, 10-year-old Sayuri breathed her last at 8.30 a.m. The cause of death was stated to be septemecia associated with disseminated intra-vascular convolution consequent to high voltage electric burns. Her funeral was held later in the evening. The girls had received serious burn injuries while trying to retrieve ring entangled in high tension wires and had been undergoing treatment at Vintage Hospital.
