CCP officer suspended
HERALD REPORTER
PANJIM, JAN 13 — CCP administrator Sanjit Rodrigues has suspended
from service, Joaquim S Colaco, Accounts and Taxation Officer and
nodal officer Solid Waste Management, in view of an inquiry by the
Anti-Corruption Bureau, Vigilance in a SWM tendering process which has
adversely affected the interests of the corporation.
It may be recalled that ACB has registered a case under Prevention of
Corruption Act against three persons namely CCP consultant Dipak
Godge, Abdul Samad, CEO of Glawel SWM Co besides Colaco after
discrepancies were found in the tendering process for the management
of wet garbage at Curca site. ACB during the raids had seized many
documents including incriminating ones.
