Goa: Most taxi operators oppose meters

Stab victim Kevin Anil D'Souza  was police informer

Kevin D'Souza, 25, of Lehigh Street, Wilkes-Barre, was stabbed more than 20 times after officers, who had set up the buy, lost sight of him ... D'Souza's mother, Sheila, traveled from Florida to meet with authorities Thursday regarding the circumstances of his death. She declined to comment. But a friend of D'Souza's, who also came to the funeral home, denounced police for failing to protect him. The friend, who declined to give his name, described D'Souza as a "proud parent" of two children. He said police should have monitored D'Souza more closely and given him a protective vest. "It's so sad. The cops were not doing their jobs," he said

13 Jan: Citizens Voice (Pennsylvania). Kevin Anil D'Souza, 25, was charged with criminal conspiracy to commit theft by deception by state police at Milton in October. He was scheduled to be formally arraigned in Union County Court on Feb. 13, according to court records.
