Scuffle after yet another loss The Statesman KOLKATA, Jan. 25. - The scene at the Salt Lake stadium turned ugly when Mohun Bagan supporters and some club officials entered into a scuffle after the match here today. The supporters, disappointed with their dismal performance, blamed the team management for allowing Gley Yao Rodrigue to leave the club. The enraged officials started abusing and physically assaulting the supporters. The police personnel posted at the stadium had to intervene to end the fiasco.
Meanwhile, Mohun Bagan coach, Mr Jahar Das, said that the club will perform better in Goa as there will be less pressure. "I am confident that we play better in our away matches as there will be less pressure," Mr Das said. Mohun Bagan will next play Dempo in Goa on 29 January. - SNS
