I was going through the article on Goan Observer dated 28th instant and I noticed that all the break-ins took place on the 5th of almost every month. The write up titled "Cops turn the other way as thieves rob church treasures" makes interesting reading and an indictment of police apathy. Does one see a pattern here? Is the 5th supposed to have some sinister latent meaning? Yesterday the theft at Bogmalo was the first time that the robbers failed to keep the date. There must be something to it. Richard Cabral
