Mopa panel meet reviews Dabolim airport traffic projections BY HERALD REPORTER
PANJIM, FEB 10 - The first meeting of the Committee constituted by the Centre on Mopa met at the Secretariat today and reviewed the infrastructural facilities and traffic projections of Dabolim airport. Chaired by the Chief Minister Pratapsing Rane who is the chairman of the committee, the meeting was attended by the Chief Secretary J P Singh, South Goa MP Churchill Alemao, Rajya Sabha MP Shantaram Naik and Joint Secretary of Ministry of Civil Aviation who is the member secretary. A presentation was made on the facilities available at Dabolim Airport and also on the projected traffic there, sources said. The meeting felt that the traffic projections of Mopa need to be done. The preliminary meeting also decided to co-opt members on the committee. The next meeting will be held in Delhi.
