Once it is in 'public domain' it is open to any one to proclaim it is theirs. Where were the 'free masons' BEFORE the shroud was announced as FAKE? Secondly, paint was evidently found on the shroud therefore it was a painting, if there was NO PAINT free-masons would have had no chance of comming in to claim it. Thirdly free-masons do not crucify people, they hang them with bricks in their pocket (for extra weight. etc - their ritual of killing). Were there crucifictions going on in the 14th century? I thought crucifiction was a Roman Official affair, which had long since died out together with their Empire. Afra.
