There is no real physical evidence that the SFX remains were not embalmed or mummified. The only expert testimony from the two physicians was written two and a half years after the physical examination. This after-the-fact record is not acceptable as expert forensic evidence.
Whether the body was embalmed or not can be easily ascertained today if the Catholic Church allows it to be subjected to modern forensic chemical analysis. I suspect this is not likely to happen. So the extraordinary supernatural explanation does not have even the bare minimum forensic evidence in support of it, let alone the extraordinary physical evidence required in such a case. There are numerous natural, semi-natural and artificial mummies in Japan, Korea, China and other parts of Asia. So this is nothing unusual from an objective scientific standpoint. Cheers, Santosh
