Dear People,

I think this public action to bring attention to the growing problem of
pedophilia and other forms of child/woman abuse in India is worth endorsing.

Subject: Invite to the Carnival.

Dear Margaret,

I am pasting this mail as an appeal to all concerned residents of Goa.
We are joining the Carnival and would like to gather about 200 people to show
our concern for abuse of women and children because of the lack of any tourism
policy in Goa.As it is a celebration we don't want to spoli the fun but still
get our message through.Hope you will join us.
Could you please forward this mail to those you think are concerned.

Cheers

Shyamalee

Dear All,

WISE (Women's Institute for Social Education) is a sister organization
of 'Save the Children India' which is working on 'prevention of trafficking of
women and children through intervention in the tourism industry'.

We are working in other states like Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Meghalaya,
Orissa Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and now in Goa.

Our concern is the growing incidents of child abuse and evidence of women
trafficked out and even from across the border i.e. Bangladesh and
Commonwealth of Independent States which can't be ignored anymore.

To appeal to people in Goa that we need to be together to make Goa safe please
join us in the Carnival

We do not wish to move away from the festive spirit of the Carnival and so we
would be providing straw hats and T-Shirts.

Please do reply ASAP as we need to organize the event quickly.

We look forward to see you at the Carnival. Let us get together to show that
we are concerned.
