Shigmo float parade at Margao on March 26 BY HERALD REPORTER MARGAO, FEB 25 — The shigmo float parade organised by Madgao Shigmostav Samiti 2006 will be held in Margao on March 26 under the chairmanship of Fatorda MLA, Damu Naik. Margao Municipal Chairperson, Piedade Noronha is the ex-officio chairperson. Vice-Chairman of the Committee are Krushnakant Shirodkar, Arun Raikar, Vasant Shirodkar, Shantaram Kadam, Gokuldas Shirodkar, Pandurang R Naik, Damodar Adpaikar, Atul Verlekar, Subhodh Govekar, Manohar Borkar, Narayan Fondekar, Raju Naik, Nilesh Kande, Girish Chodankar, Rajendra Azgaonkar, Ramdas Hazare, Ghyanasham Shirodkar, Gurunath Lad, Hanuman Lawande, Raju Shirodkar and Damodar Kerkar. Ganesh Velip is the general secretary of the committee, while Vivek Desai has been appointed as the treasurer.
