Rudresh says he's still a Congman BY HERALD REPORTER PANJIM, FEB 28 - Asserting that he continues to be a Congressman, two- time councillor Rudresh Chodankar has said that he has not joined the BJP for the ensuing Corporation of City of Panaji (CCP) elections. "In our efforts to fight the money and muscle power that is being used by certain political elements to capture power in the CCP, I have joined hands with those political forces who share this objective", justifying his decision to join the Panel for Progress. He said mischievous efforts are on to misguide the people that he has joined the BJP to damage his electoral prospects. Chodankar who is contesting from Ward No 23, alleged that undesirable political forces are flaunting money power and are exerting tremendous pressure on those in the real estate and construction business in his ward, by virtue of being in power in the Government.
