Five international Airlines have shown interest in bringing toruist directly from Europe and other countries to Goa. Ref. Dy.Chief Minister Dr. Wilfred de Souza in Herald.
He disclosed that the ailines which include Condor, Gulf Air, Emirates, BMI (British Midlands) have shown interest. He hoped that the open skies policy would see an increase of direct flights to the tourist destination of Goa. He also disclosed that Australia is interested in Goa as a tourist destination and the State Tourism Ministry may be packaging Goa to this country shortly.
