Court admits Vishwajit Rane's defamation case against Parrikar March 10 - JMFC, Panaji today admitted the complaint filed by Vishwajit Rane, son of chief minister Pratapsing Rane, which alleged that the statements made in a press conference by leader of opposition Manohar Parrikar has defamed his reputation. The court also served a notice to the former chief minister Manohar Parrikar to appeal before the court. Noted lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani appeared for Mr Rane. It may be noted that Mr Parrikar in a press conference held recently had charged Mr Rane of interfering in administration and effecting transfers of government servents. -- TUMCHER AXIRVAD ASSUM; DEV BOREM KORUM.
