Goan comedians call for maintaining harmony BY HERALD REPORTER MARGAO, MARCH 10 — Participants of the Goan comedy show has appealed to the people not to fight amongst themselves but to maintain communal harmony. The 8 participants sent across this message during a trial round of the laughter competition at Ana Fonte spring garden here. The final round of the competition will be held on March 11 at Nagesh gardens, Monte Hill, wherein budding comedi-ans from Goa, Vijaykumar Naik, Vinai Khandeparkar, Shaik Barge, Srikant Salgaokar and Arjun Parab will compete for excellence. Industrialist Rajesh Timbo and his wife Vilda Timblo have sponsored the competition. The grande final of the laughter challenge will be part of the Rangostava, a festival of colours, which has been organised to catch the mood of the Holi festival on March 11 at Nagesh gardens, in collaboration with the department fo Art and culture, Indian Oil Corporation and is supported by the department of Tourism.
