Mario Goveia alluded the author of this statement to be a "Goan jihadi", while Lawrence Rodrigues answered with a "Ja, Ja, Heil Hitler !!!". It is not my objective to defend AF's statement, but it is my duty to underline the difference between a non-violent statement ("Damn the outsiders"), which might only be an outburst to what is happening in Goa, and two statements which try to link it up with a violent, anti-democratic and homicidal behaviour (jihadi), and a totalitarian dictator who has conducted one of the largest genocides in World History.
My request goes to Mr. Goveia and Mr. Rodrigues not to mix up things. If we empty concepts such as "fascism", "jihad" or "colonialism" and start calling each an everyone a "Hitler", we might just be on the right track to foster and encourage them, bringing them into the daily mainstream. Please refrain your emotions and try instead to look at the root of such a statement made by AF. It might be lying just under your nose.
