NEW TIATRO OF ROSARY FERNS IN KUWAIT.
After penning and directing 19 Tiatros so far and staging them in Goa and
Kuwait, now Rosary Ferns is all set to stage his 20th new family Tiatro
GHOR BHANDLEM, GHORABO MODDLO. This Tiatro is going to be staged in Kuwait
at Hawally A/C Hall, starting at 4.00 p.m. on 11th August 2006.
In addition to the topmost local artistes, 5 from Goa and Mumbai will
participate in this Tiatro. One of the visiting artistes is the living
legend and the senior most Konkani sage artiste Ophelia Cabral coming back
to Kuwait to entertain the crowd after 18 years. Speaking to this writer,
Ophelia Cabral who is known as Tragedy Queen said though I have grown in
age but my wish to perform on stage is still young and in this show I will
perform to the best of my abilities. The other outstation artistes are
Ophelias daughter pretty Babli like her late talented father Bab Peter,
from Goa Antonette de Calangute, the number one hilarious character comedian
John DSilva and after a long period jet speed political singer William de
Curtorim.
The local artistes are Marcus Vaz, Sylvester Vaz, Laurente Pereira, Comedian
Philip, Querobina Carvalho, Manuel de Santa Cruz, Simon Gonsalves, Xavier
Furtado, Bab Agnelo, Sanny de Quepem, Zoro de Assolna, Michael de Silva,
Margareth D. Cruz, Clara, Lawry M., first time in Kuwait ace playwright Pal
Soares, Alex de Consua and Rosary Ferns.
Musical score will be provided by Denis, Philip, Agnelo, Faustino and first
time in Kuwait maestro and music teacher Rabindra DPietro son of renowned
writer and musician Bonaventure DPietro.
This show will be presented by KUWAIT GOANS ASSOCIATION.
