KOCHI: The Taj Green Cove Resort, Kovalam, will hold a Goan food festival from March 16 to 19, said a press release here on Wednesday. The festival will feature vegetarian and non-vegetarian Goan delicacies, soups, starters, main courses and traditional desserts. Chef Rego, whose culinary skills have wowed dignitaries like the Shah of Iran, George W. Bush (US President), Henry Kissinger (US State Secretary), Gerald Ford (former President of America), King Hussain of Jordan, Kurt Waldhein (Gen. Secretary of UNO) and Mario Soares (President of Portugal), will prepare the menu of the food festival. He had been selected amongst the top five chefs in India by The Hotel Federation of India for organising food festivals within the country and abroad. Chef Rego has been a maestro for co-ordinating high profile food promotions in countries like Switzerland, London, Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore. ~(^^)~ Avelino
