RESPONSE: You have correctly noted that Parrikar and the BJP are trying to make capital out of what has happened to the Catholic minority. They are attempting to show that they care and have the interests of the minority Catholics at heart. Most Catholics if not all, know and realise that the BJP/RSS are opportunists. We should never trust them or what they say.
