Damage to Places of worship The murder of Fr. Eusebio Ferrao makes it very clear that we need blood to open our eyes.
The prayers offered to his soul and other writing about this issue does not solve the root problem; Everything is done by the Government and the associated politicians to drive the minorites into the sea. It is therefore of paramount importance that the public has to come forward em masse to protest in public and only then some sort of action will be taken. It is obvious that our Government only understands issues when there is destruction of property, killings, burnings etc. It is high time that the bishop Rev. Filipe Neri Ferrao has to be more updated on the issues of safety of church property, security, electronic alarms etc. I am definite that the curriculum in the seminary does not include safety and property management which is one of the important functions of today's world. The world is changing but the teachings in the seminary have not changed. I hope a committee is organized so that the issues on safety will be studied and there will be less destruction and murders in the near future. Tom de Sousa in Hong Kong.
