Miscarriage of justice takes place in all countries including those deemed advanced like the UK. For Mario to suggest that this does not happen in the USA indicates how little he knows. Indeed, we hear consistently from experienced lawyers in the UK and USA that they would not want UK citizens to be tried in the USA because the legal system there is erratic and not terribly reliable.
