India is indeed fortunate not to have an ideologically driven "home-schooling" movement of the type prevalent in the U.S. It is a good thing that the Hindutva zealots were defeated, and were not able to revise high school textbooks to include bogus revisionist history, and garbage such as vedic astrology, vedic mathematics and vedic science.
