I thought one of our true Hindu Goan brothers would take up our cause and approach the Godekar's in Khorlim Mapusa (opposite Mapusa Police station) located at Khorlik bund. I am sure there must be some God fearing Goan Hindus who would like to take up the matter with Godekar's and show those Catholics who mock them derogatoriraly! Our field gave us 12 khandis annually. Liz - you have given birth to a great idea about construction on the land. It is on prime location in Mapusa. I never thought about it that way. How can I pursue this matter before Karma gets our Godekar's! I do not wish anything to happen to them. I am impressed to see that we have a Goan lady standing up to Goan man. Some of our Goan man do not like to be thought by ladies. When they are losing they call names. Poor souls they know very less of Goa and perhaps 'brainwashed' by their partners and the surroundings of their new homes wherever they are. Or they may be thinking they are all like George Bush.
