I found Eddie's and Mario's comments hilarious in this
context. Perhaps all politicians in Goa should have it
on their number plates, "BLOWING MY OWN HORN".
On another note, despite having a driving license from
the Middle East (a feat equivalent to acquiring an
MBA), an International driving license and a US
driving license, I would never be able to drive in
India. It is this very aspect that nakedly points to
the fact that India is indeed not a democracy but a
functioning anarchy.
It is the mindset that has to change. That indeed life
is precious, that indeed civic responsibility is a
virtue, that indeed the other person deserves respect.
These character traits are slowly but surely being
eroded in our society, even in Goa.
