Buk-Buko, Jephsis Hitler and my gaum bhav Jesus Antao from Chinchinim were natural comedians besides other tiatrists.
I too have studied in the same school St. Boscos and have taken part in 3-4 tiatrs on our school annual day...Hever I did not get an opportunity to act with young Antao then. Our school tiatrs were well appreciated by the people comparing to the other schools or village tiatrs as we had a few senior 'Natkam' actors as our teachers, (Mr. Raikar and Narvenkar) who used to take care of the story and direction and also the support of the band... Late Mestri Carlit..of.the Radio Sereneders ..the one time famous band of Goa. Radio Sereneders was not a tiatr band but they used to play for us since his children were studying in same school. Besides the school tiatrs, some of the school boys used to form their own group and perform like khells during the 'Paskam fest' Jesus Antao's latest VCD ' Bhudvont Jak Inas” is worth watching. I wish all the best for my Gaum Bhav..for this new tiatr in Kuwait. Mario Menezes, is another Chinchonkar was is currently doing well in the tiatr field.
