NOTICE
This is to bring to the attention of all Overseas Goans that Mr. Eduardo
Faleiro has been recently appointed as the ‘Commissioner for NRI Affairs’,
with Cabinet rank, by the Government of Goa. A former Minister of State for
External Affairs, Mr. Faleiro's dynamism, experience and proven capability
will enable him to tackle the problems faced by Overseas Goans effectively
and efficiently.
It's now up to the Overseas Goans to put forward their needs and demands
before the Commissioner. In order to prioritize the proposed list of our
needs and demands collectively, overseas Goans, presently in Goa, are
invited to a meeting at Kala Academy, Campal, Panjim, on Tuesday, 25th April
2006 at 15:00 hours.
Overseas Goans who are unable to attend the meeting may send by email their
collective short list of needs and demands, preferably one short list from
each country, to be included in the final prioritized list, by 24 April
2006.
