Dear Aunty, 

Can you help me to solve the major dilemmas of my life? When I sent out the 
pompous post below, the only response that I get from BC is the one-liner 
(below).

Now, I'm puzzled: however did BC come to the conclusion that I had anything 
remotely to do with civilisation and being civilised? 

Some more dilemmas: is it fair to post someone's personal mail to a list (as I 
now do)? Was it correct for BC to pay me such compliments only in private, 
instead of via the list? He was more on target earlier, while accusing me 
(rightly, of course) of being born in the favelas.

Your words of wisdom are much appreciated, and would surely help me understand 
these complex issues in context. And thank you for lending a shoulder for all 
of us to cry on! Being a Goanetter isn't a teddybear's picnic. -FN
