Ground Transportation in Goa. The safety standard of our buses in Goa has much to be desired. Passenger confort and safety is not existent and all the local buses have no fans for ventilation or aircondition. The wheels are normally mis-aligned and unbalanced and the seats very uncomfortable. Overloading of the buses is free issue and normally police control is non existent. Our learned politicians spend more time in arranging for morchas and bundhs for and against the proposed new airport but how many of the general public travel by air regularly. Buses are our normal mode of transport and I feel that the Alemao brothers, khalap and others should concentrate for now at least in the interest of public safety to improve the quality and safety of the private and Kadamba buses.
