Hello every one,
Thanks to the responses received on my initial mail through goanet. I
received a surprise phonecall from one Mr.Mascharenhas, Dona paula, who
wanted to meet me urgently to-day, as he had to go and meet some one in the
Government regarding the ever increasing traffic problems of Goa.
He is an engineer by profession and has returned from Germany. His niece had
sent the contents of my mail displayed in goanet, for his reference on
traffic woes. He is really concerned that no one has so far heard him on his
suggestions and he is totally fed up taking up with the Government, of
this problem.
He gave me a picture that whomsoever he had contacted on this issue, have
been good liteners and with no outcome of course!
I had assured him that we could handle the problem with a real concern and
also with a practical approach as we are going to deal with the Government
machinery, who have certain norms and style of functioning. I had also
handed him over a copy of my article published in NAVHIND TIMES on the
27/02/2006.
I place through this forum : ARE WE CONCERNED OF THE INCREASING TRAFFIC WOES
AT GOA?
IF SO, COULD WE DO SOMETHING? IF YES, WHY ONE SHOULD WAIT.
PLEASE LET US GET TOGETHER ON THIS ISSUE and help Mr.Mascharenhas. We could
make him a part of our welfare project -- THE PROJECT ROAD SAFETY
LET'S DO SOMETHING GOOD ; BUT LASTING LONGER!
