By the time Castaway was screened I was already annoyed. I think my last Tom
Hanks movie was Philadelphia. It is the hungama as you aptly call it that is
making Dan Brown and Hollywood rich - hair transplants cost a lot! The only
ones who are not getting anything (except ulcers) are the hungamistas! I
wonder about Dharavi too - but I hope for them. Have you heard of the
wonderful things that Vivek de Malar's aunt Dr. Armida Fernandez is doing in
Dharavi? Just do a google search and you will read about a true Christian.

RESPONSE: Hollywood annoys me too but are you afraid to shake off that image
you have in your mind of Tom Hanks from 'Castaway' ?? ...... :-)
RESPONSE: I concur !! That was an appropriate take on the
sensational/commercial aspects of the world today. With an award-winning
actor, Hanks, and award-winning director, Howard, and all this hungama -
genuine and otherwise, the movie is bound to break the bank this week.
Nevertheless, I hope you caught Floriano's recent kerchief-less trek through
Mumbai.....;-) I find it unbelieveable that Dharavi will soon morph into
something other than the Dharavi that I've always dreaded to drive thru
(especially on a 2-wheeler) while going East/West in Mumbai.
